Memphis Meats is creating a new kind of farming to transform the way meat is made.












We started Memphis Meats because we believe eating delicious meat should be a healthy, safe, and sustainable experience.  The current agricultural system can't get us there, so we're creating a new one.

Rather than cultivating plants or animals, we cultivate cells. Then, we use traditional recipes perfected over three generations to make mouthwatering pork, beef, and chicken.

The result: 100% real meat that is good for the body, good for the planet, and good for the soul.



We love meat. But like most Americans, we don’t love the many negative side effects of conventional meat production: wasted energy and resources, a slew of health risks, and the use of copious amounts of harmful chemicals including antibiotics, growth hormones and pesticides.

That’s why we started Memphis Meats. We’re creating a new kind of farming, one that provides the same delicious meat we grew up with—without all the drawbacks.

Our concept is simple: instead of farming animals to obtain their meat, why not farm the meat directly?  To that end, we’re combining decades of experience in both the culinary and scientific fields to farm real meat cells—without the animals—in a process that is healthier, safer, and more sustainable than conventional animal agriculture.  Our products are delicious, too: all are developed with recipes honed over a half century by award-winning chefs.
